Haven't heard anything from Blurb since last week when they sent me an email to tell me my order was shipped. Checking the tracking number they gave me, I see that it arrived at my local post office yesterday (Sunday) and is currently In Transit by Post Office - This shipment is progressing through the postal system to the final destination ... which I take to mean it's in the carrier's bag she'll leave it when she gets around here some time later today. Horses? Noise? You don't need noise. I had a horse bolt on me catching sight of waving cloth out of the corner of it's eye. It doesn't take much strange to get on a horses nerves. Very much aware of this; the horse my wife currently rides is terrified of domestic wheeled rubbish bins. He will happily put up with screaming children, trucks, buses - but show him a 'horse-eating bin', even from a distance, and he goes nuts. I suppose it's part of the fun working out behind the camera what innocent thing you might do which will start them off! Using a camera at least makes a break from my part of the deal, which usually involves a wheelbarrow, an empty stable and a vast amount of horse exhaust. I have several irises that I created photos of while visiting a local iris garden. I was in a bit of a hurry as it was about to come a good storm and neglected to get photos of the name plates. Mine’s early 2008 (pre unibody) and is running Yosemite without any problems. The latest update (10.10.3) fixed an annoying memory leak for me. For work, I use a late 2008 unibody MacBook Pro, running Lion but badly needing an OS update. Our computer guy says I can go with either Yosemite or Mavericks. Whichever I choose will go on a spiffy new SSHD to replace the spinny HD. I use a range of apps, from MS Office to radiology image viewers. Thoughts?
