Sorry to hear. Always enjoyed the quotes. I can’t recall anyone looking bad. Of
course we’re all responsible for our words. There are times I’ve regretted a
remark, but that’s part of life.

Maybe I'm being slower than usual or just not paying attention but - no quotes
list this year?

I'll second Henk's suggestion. I upgraded a 13 year old Gateway laptop
with an I-3 processor and only 4GB RAM. It now boots in seconds versus
minutes using the old spinny drive. I used a Crucial SSD. Crucial
provides a free version of Acronis software for cloning but I used
Macrium Reflect
Besides, Mike! is an easier transition from Mark! since they share so many
phonemes and ‘ah’ to ‘aye’ is just half a diphthong apart, at least if you
pronounce “Mark!” properly the English way, not the barbaric American rhotic
way. Whereas you can get into all sorts of unexpected difficulties
Can't have Bob compile the list ... too many of the quotable quotes come
from him ...

BOB! is shorter and, I humbly suggest, more memorable.

I asked Mark about that a few weeks ago. He said that someone gave him so much
shit (my words not his) about something in it last year, he
I wonder how this is physically possible with an internal SSD to have a
USB connection.
If you have an old laptop with HDD I would just replace this with a SATA
2.5 inch SSD for which you need also a SATA/USB (2 or 3) cable connector
to migrate the system.
This will speed up the system

Don’t worry, I’m pretty sure that I understand what you want to do. Or maybe
you should worry that I’m the one that does.

I have googled “lens ball” and found a thing called a lensball, which is a
crystal ball of the type fortune tellers use. You take a picture through it -
the image is inverted and distorted, so I assume ‘flipping’ it means turning it
the right way up.

In Photoshop I would make a selection, copy that to a new layer and
edit that layer (rotating and b)
No idea how to do that in lightroom (if possible at all), My workflow
would be the basic image editing in LR and after that right mouse
click and edit in photoshop

I recently saw an ad for an internal laptop SSD with a built in USB3
socket. Try as I might, I can't find it again. This could be very
advantageous for me as my laptop is only USB2 with no Express Card slot.
Anyone?
