Walking back from the beach earlier today, I looked up at the
beautiful blue Maui sky and how it was accented by the plain beige wall of
our condo building.  It immediately called to mind one of my favorite

 thanks  Alan. yes, they are greater crested terns and caspian terns and
the plovers are greater sand plovers (i have added captions identifying
them; i thought i added them but obviously not).  we plan to go again
sometime later.

I like the Terns(?) in flight. I haven't had much success with that sort 
of shot yet. The others are Sandplovers I think. We occasionally get 
small groups of species of both at Sable Dam in the Kruger Park, about 
200km from the coast in Mozambique. They fly up the major rivers.

It seems as if my e-mail problem has been resolved. Vox have put 
pdml@pdml.net onto a white list to prevent it from being blacklisted. 
They dud not say how or why it was being blacklisted.
