bugs and flowers

2022-02-09 Thread Larry Colen
The weather now should be mostly rainy interspersed with a few lovely sunny
days. We’ve been getting unrelenting sunshine and with the temp today in the
high 70s (mid 20s for you unamericans). My Camellia tree has started blooming
weeks early.

I spent a few minutes in my yard today with the K-3 and DFA100

I think my best photo is such because of the bug that I didn’t notice until I
was processing the photos that placed itself nearly perfectly in the 1/3
composition spot, close enough for just minimal cropping

Nice images, well documenting your adventure.

I have an aversion to cruise ships, but I wish you a wonderful voyage!

Re: GESO: Eastern Caribbean

2022-02-09 Thread Stanley Halpin
Thanks Paul!
Where we go can change day to day. Each island has its own rules, those change
often. At this point our stops next week will be Aruba, Curacao, Falmouth
Jamaica (a recent substitute for the original scheduled Grand Cayman) and
Nassau. For us, on this trip, it is about the experience of traveling again,
just anywhere is fine! And after 10 days on this first leg, there are still
zero cases of covid positive on board.

Very nice virtual tour.  Does your "further south" cruise take you as
far south as Trinidad/Tobago?

Alan, we use a mixer with a dough hook to mix and knead the dough, but
that’s the only technology involved.
