You know what's fun?
Digging out from underneath the rubble of a particularly bad computer
crash is fun.
I mean, when your computer dies over night for no reason and you suspect
a power supply only to spend good money to replace that power supply and
find that it's not the problem? Fun

I *did* sort-of forget to mention the whole being in a building that was
hit by a tornado. It's funny how that kind of thing totally alleviates
anybody's concern about your department being way over budget on
overtime already...
I was on the phone with my wife when it hit. I remember saying
It's a sad day in our house. After more than a year of dealing with
cancer, we had our dog Mulder put to sleep today. His leg had gotten
too bad and we couldn't stand to see him get any worse. Brenda and I
went together and stayed with him until the end.
He was his same old goofy attention
Thanks for all your condolences. I knew if I shared with you lot that
you'd understand and send responses that would make me feel just a bit
better.

Photography Weekend at Grandfather Mountain is _*THIS TUESDAY*_ April

I got a note from Amazon on Wednesday that this lens had finally arrived
for Pentax. When I finally looked yesterday, they were all gone. It
looks like a good competitor for the Sigma and it's a little less money.
