Re: Pentax owner satisfaction (JD Powers)
Buying Pentax is an informed decision, you need to know what you are doing. People who don't know what camera to buy, will end up with Nikon or Canon as a safe bet, because that's what everyone else is using. I've met people with mid-range DSLRs who didn't even heard about Pentax. On the other hand, I really can't complain about the K3. Re: PESO My first stereo image
Clever trick with the macro rail. I can see it after moving farther away from my monitor, when I'm sitting close I can't cross my eyes enough. I think it's different for everyone, experiment with the viewing distance if you don't get it at first try. Re: high iso experiment
That's not bad at all, and you can improve them with a quick noise reduction in ACR / Lightroom. For even better results you could try noise reduction on each channel individually in PS, but that's not quick anymore. I like the first 2, nice framing! On Fri, Nov 7, 2014 at 8:44 PM, Christine Aguila christ...@caguila.com wrote: Hi Everyone: On the way to Newberry Library the other night, I tried a few high ISO shots at 51,200—and in some cases added a bit of flash, which was dialed down to EV -2.00. The metadata is listed above each photo. There are five images here--(virtually as shot)— with a tarted up version that follows to make for a total of 10 images. Clearly, there is noise, but I have to say, I was still surprised with the quality given the ISO.
