The new Pentax K-01 mirrorless camera is supposed to be build like a brick,
literally - you should be able to place on a table in landscape or portrait
position without a tripod.
Has anyone tried this? Will the K-01 sit on a table in portrait position

As Sarah Palin would say, I wish that Pentax would refudiate that rumor. Their
new compact line with toy lenses doesn't seem to be gaining much interest.
Both Fuji and Sigma generated a great deal of interest in their APS sensor
compact cameras, even though everyone had to wait for many months
