If anything, moving the wall a bit farther away might be effective.
Personally, I'd leave it the way it is. Very nice.

Thanks for the additional comments ... Paul, Michael, Mark, Harry,

I have about 8-12 exposures of this scene where I varied the dividing
line of the wall, foreground and background, and the focus point. How
the wall, the foreground and the background interact, where the

Hello Godfrey,
I like the shot, but the foreground really doesn't do much for me. If
I crop it to have just a little grass before the stone fence, it works
much better for me.

Well done, I like it.
Has somewhat of a layered effect for me.

Nice one, Godfrey. There's a lot in the frame but it's
handled nicely.
I prefer the color to the B/W but both are strong.

Very nice, Godders. I think it's the best landscape I've seen from you.
Excellent detail, rich tonality. an interesting scene and a pleasing
composition. The foreground flowers add interest and dimensionality,
the powerful sky adds drama. Precisely rendered. Wow!

Godfrey,
For me, the stone wall divides the picture too much.

wall more in the foreground? And please have a pint
of real ale for me, while you're at it!
