It's nice, except that the DOF makes it look like it could have been

Don't you like it how birds return to the exact same 1 area on a twig or
limb over and over again? The downside is one's body gets 'locked' in
position with the camera and tripod, and fatigue starts setting in.
I have exactly the same sense with this as I had with the ground squirrel.
