Easy CD Creator 4 works find for me. Alternately, buy Laplink and transfer direct from the old to the new, or install your old hard drive as a second hard drive on the new computer for free. They shouldn't be any different from any other kind of file. I use Easy CD Creator. I use the same software myself and never had a problem. If you have a CD formatted for use in Direct CD, then you can drag and drop pictures from any of your subdirectories on your hard drive into any subdirectory on your CD. The system doesn't care what the file type is. I would be sure to put the pictures into a subdirectory on the CD, though. You could run into a limitation on the number of files that you can have in the root directory. I have burned three CDs worth of scanned photos with EZ CD Creator in the last week, no problems at all. I'm getting ready to create one that will be a free running slide show of my gallery. You just need to make sure that you tell EZ CD Creator that you want to create a CD to share data among different computers or something like that, so it creates a standard Joliet or ISO-9660 format CD. Jeepgirl, Get all your photos lined up on your C drive (or D or E) and let the program copy the files. I have had various problems copying/writing CD's when the burner seemed to run out files. Put them all in one place/directory and copy that to the CD. Regards, Bob S.
