Hello pdns-user !
I am currently trying to transfer my zones running on bind9 to PowerDNS
with a bind-backend.
I want my AXFR dig queries to answer the same between pdns and bind9. The
configuration on pdns and bind is the same.
AXFR queries are all fine except for the zones that have RRSIG and
Hello,
I'm currently testing AXFR updates between a master and a slave server.
When I am doing a massive zone refresh, the slave then asks the master the
SOA of every zone. It's a pretty long process when you have a lot of zones.
Meanwhile, I would like to be able to force an other update with
PowerDNS Authoritative Server 4.1.3
Thanks for your help :)

Hello,
Really late comment regarding the tools you recommend :
I guess these tools become irrelevant when you start checking zones with
pdns custom records (ie : Lua/Alias).
@Daniel, any chance you found a workaround since you first posted this
thread ?
Best regards.

Hello,
It seems like pdns auth servers are answering SERVFAIL queries when the
subdomain is malformed in the query. It is testable on powerdns.com domain
- which I assume is hosted on a pdns-auth backend.
Ex :
dig @pdns-public-ns2.powerdns.com. 1+1=2.powerdns.com will return SERVFAIL
dig

Hello,
On bind / sqlite systems there is currently no way to reload metadata and
cryptokeys provided through a read only sqlite3 database, correct ?
pdns_control commands like bind-reload-now / bind-add-zone / reload do not
seem to fetch content from the sqlite database.
Is there something I am
