here in a couple of dimensions.
First, hydrogen is not a fuel. It is a storage medium for
energy extracted from other fuels -- whether wind or nuclear or
whatever.

virtually all the fuels in current use--petroleum

Hydrogen can be burned. It is an element. It can be
extracted from water.
