Hi Corey,
Thanks for the response.
Yes, I did install the new perfmon kernel image.
Regarding the pseudo files, I don't see anything with name perfmon in /
sys/proc/kernel . Does that mean that the installation is not
complete? I can run pfmon -L to list all the events though.
Thanks,

Hi All,
I've a working pfmon installation (pfmlib 3.10 kernel patch 2.9 pfmon
3.9) on a Nehalem machine. There are a couple of Nehalem related
events which pfmon does not show in its list of events (e.g.,
OFFCORE_REQUESTS_OUTSTANDING, SNOOPQ_REQUESTS_OUTSTANDING). I was just
wondering if t
Hi,
I've pfmon running on a Nehalem-EX server. The problem is that pfmon is
not showing any uncore events with pfmon -LUNC_. Is there something that
I need to enable in particular to get uncore events working? Any help on
this would be great. Here is my configuration:

or core i7 processors.

Any help on how to get uncore events working with pfmon?
Thanks,
Vishal
