[Pgui-devel] Widget Templates idea

2002-02-14 Thread Micah Dowty
Hi Everybody, This is a pretty cool idea LoneTech, echristi, and I have been discussing a little on IRC recently. I just wrote up a Wiki page explaining it: http://picogui.org/wiki/view/Main/WidgetTemplates -- Only you can prevent creeping featurism!

Yes, i'm expecting that running PicoGUI on the iPaq will be very easy. It has the same CPU as the TuxScreen, which PicoGUI already runs fine on. I'm guessing that it will only need a touchscreen driver. On Thu, Feb 14, 2002 at 04:55:48PM +0500, Tasnim Ahmed wrote: > I think PicoGUI already runs

I think PicoGUI already runs on the iPAQ. At least it does on the Stron ARM sa11x0, iPAQ's framebuffer had an issue AFAIR. I'll check that, but I have to install and check ARM toolchain first, then will be able to send some feedback. -tasnim - Original Message - From: Micah Dowty <[EMAIL

Sorry to be so late in this thread. First, it is no wonder that this thread got so much contribution. The term *best embedded ui* appeared a couple of time, and everybody has a different opinion about what should be "best". May I add that "embedded" is also a great source of confusion all over

Ahh.. I didn't understand that this was with pgMessageDialog(). It should set things up so that by default the enter key triggers the Ok button and the escape key triggers the Cancel button. These keys can be overridden with theme properties. On Thu, Feb 14, 2002 at 09:58:23AM +0200, Okan wrot
