Hello Robert,
Since their Credenza is up in the 35,000 range it is probably a 4 door
model, see the link below which is in the 25,000 range is a four door.
Whether or not it would still have the brass reproducer at this point would
be strictly conjecture on my part unless someone else has
Thanks so much, Bruce. I wanna say theirs is a 4 door but I'm not certain.
I'll ask. I was planning on going with a rebuilt pot metal, regardless of
whether Victor had changed over from the brass ones by 34495 or not; I felt
certain either one would sound great, and I assumed pot metal
Say, that sounds like a great way to maintain good acquaintance with
the collection and expand one's awareness of its rich content at the
same time.
I like your centennial ritual.

That'd do it! But without the odour, you'd have to figure out some
way of driving everyone else out of the room.

Actually, I must admit to being goofy myself. In honor of my 'hero, my partner
planted heliotropes in our garden, Edison's favorite flower.

Related to this, does anyone know when the Credenza or 8-30 went to
the tone arm support bracket that comes up from behind and has the
pivot pin and set screw at the top? I realize that this is the style
most often seen, but I'm sure there were some of these made with the
type of support

But don't HARP on it.

For those that don't know, John also plays the harp

Will do. Maybe others will turn up with the parts as well. I think
it's fair to say that most of us who love and use our Credenzas like
to have at least one Orthophonic reproducer and one non-repro tone-
arm back bracket on hand.

I'm just talking about one of the little 3-inch Edison metal banks,

I did take a Ron Haring Edison bust to work at GE one year for

I've got 2 of those banks, sitting atop my fridge! The Edison Twins, watching
over my kitchen ... hehe
(one of them came from a grandson of Edison's Fort Myers tailor... I missed out
on getting a rejected suitcoat, dammit)
