Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph model H-19 free to a good home. It was
given to me and I don't have the room to keep it. The cabinet is in
lovely condition. The motor turns, but it has a hard time maintaining
speed when you put the reproducer on the record. Reproducer sounds
good. Decent little

I'm not sure about an Edison DD machine - it fits a Victrola tone arm -
same size cuff as the Exhibition or No.2 reproducer. I tried out the
vertical setting last night on a Par-O-Ket record and it worked very

Hello - I found a dual lateral/vertical reproducer in an antique shop today.
It was in a box of "accessories" for a floor model Victrola XI. I asked if
they would part with just that piece and managed to buy it pretty reasonably.
It has what appears to be a Bakelite diaphragm - it's opaque br
If someone has the Victor Red Seal Discography Volume 1 they could look

I observe a difference in shape between antique/original phono needles,
and newly manufactured ones. The antique needles I've found are
slightly longer, and are tapered along the full length of the needle - a
true needle shape. The newly manufactured ones are somewhat shorter,
and are not tapered
