It isn't. Some people just aren't used to seeing phonographs in great
condition and get too excited. As an investment, even if you were in your 20's
and hung on to it until the day before you lived out your natural life, you'd
never get your money out of this one. John

I have seen a triumph with a wooden horn go for close to that price.
The last time a different Standard A was on eBay the pin striping was totally
gone, the seller described it as mint and it sold for $700. I
