Hello Ron, Edison links vary from .0175 to .0192 in diameter. I use .020 annealed stainless steel wire to make links for them all except for the O and M which I use .018 annealed steel wire. The O link is longer than the M link. Staple wire is too small in my opinion as it is .0175 on one s
