I would like to revert this change for 4.0.6 and have us work on it and
sort out all the problems for 4.0.7.
I wanted to RC1 4.0.6 tomorrow. So many little bugs have been fixed in the
last few days it'll be a bummer to ruin the release because of libtool. I
think 4.0.6 will be the most stable v
