I posted an RFC for socket activation [1] to the PHP Internals mailing
list [2] several weeks ago. There's been a bit of discussion and no
significant opposition.
I would like to move the RFC to the voting phase. I assume this is the
right place to ask, given that this is where I asked for the RFC
