A quick question why can't we build a PDF version I could put some
resources into this if needed

it seems that db++ and muscat are no longer available in 4.3.0
From the docs (scanned source files by Hartmut):
db++ : 4.1.0 - 4.2.3 only
muscat : 4.0.5 - 4.2.3 only
Both extensions have entries in pear/PECL CVS, the one of db++ is empty,

The problem with PDF etc is that the entire library of pdf files adds
_another_ 80MB to the rsync distribution. I couldn't add them before when we
were using va to rsync -- jirka, i need to re-add your account on the new
box and ask you to upload them again. I will get them rsynced automatically

You need the Adobe PDF DistillerIf you don't have it shoot it my way
and I'll distill it for you.

into phpdoc/devmanual/* and if it grows to something reasonable,
then it should go alone.
