SASL is likely broken in PLA 1.2 - those instructions are for PLA 1.1
and there was a big re-write in the backend for 1.2.
There are some outstanding patches to be applied 1.2 which are SASL
related, which may fix the SASL functions.

I'm using phpldapadmin-1.2.0.5 on Debian Squeeze. I'm trying to enable
SASL auth. I'm trying to set
