Hi, to completely remove PIDA, delete the
directory /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/pida (or wherever your site
packages are), and delete the scripts /usr/bin/pida and /usr/bin/pida-remote
(or wherever your bin directory is).

Hi,

I want uninstall pida too to start a new installation. How I can do
this? In the source dir I don't see a script for uninstall it.

Cheers,

Yes, I do have vim-gtk installed. I believe I removed the "repo
version" completely, how can I check for that and how do I uninstall
version 0.5.1 to start with a clean slate? :)

Hi, thanks for trying PIDA,

Do you have vim-gtk installed? Did you make sure you removed all traces of
previous PIDA versions?

PIDA 0.5.1: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

2007-08-24 Thread Thorsten

Hi,

I downloaded PIDA 0.5.1 to my Ubuntu Feisty system (32-bit) and got
the following error after building and installing PIDA with

python setup.py build && sudo python setup.py install

then trying to run it by typing "pida" on the commandline:

[Errno 2] No such file or directory

The first run wizard ran once and elt me choose the editor, then the
error. I still get the small splash screen, then it disappears. I have
the latest kiwi framework installed 1.9.16

Any ideas? The repo version of PIDA is only 0.3.
