Re: [pkg-go] Packaging flannel

2016-12-08 Thread Fernando Seiti Furusato
Hi Tim.

I was actually able to build flannel now.

There were some errors because the new version of daemon.SdNotify in
golang-github-coreos-go-systemd-dev now requires 2 arguments. I just put
a true where the argument is missing.

Should I test it the way it is, or you plan to change something soon on
this package?

Thanks!

Hello Tim.

Sorry for top posting. I just forgot to mention that we give focus on
ppc64el here.

So, we need to have it built on that architecture and so the tests will
be likely conducted on it as well.

Got it!

How do I get it to actually build?
I see that it is not easy as just running debian/rules binary.
I got the dependencies installed and all, but could not get GOPATH and
GOROOT variables right.

I am not really familiar, but I can get someone who is to do that.

Thanks!

I've just set the distro back to UNRELEASED to indicate that it's not ready for
upload. (-:

Not quite yet. The package builds correctly, but I haven't done any actual
testing on it
so it's not ready for upload.

Are you familiar enough with flannel to help test it? I can work on the
package some
today and bash it into better shape.
