[Pkg-javascript-devel] node-mime-types REMOVED from testing

2015-10-10 Thread Debian testing watch
FYI: The status of the node-mime-types source package
in Debian's testing distribution has changed.

  Previous version: 2.0.2-1
  Current version: (not in testing)
  Hint:
Bug #796407: node-mime-types: FTBFS: Incompatible with latest node-mime

The script that generates this mail tries to extract removal
reasons from comments in the britney hint files. Those comments
were not originally meant to be machine readable, so if the
reason for removing your package seems to be nonsense, it is
probably the reporting script that got confused. Please check the
actual hints file before you complain about meaningless removals.

[Pkg-javascript-devel] Bug#801468: Cannot be required and misses a dep

2015-10-10 Thread Julien Puydt
Package: node-jquery
Version: 1.6.3-1
Severity: important

Hi,

I tried to install node-jquery, then to "require('jquery');" in nodejs,
but it failed because it didn't find the cssstyle package.

So I installed node-cssstyle ; but then require fails because the package
did not self-register.

This probably means the package is unusable, though I'd be happy to be
proven wrong.
