I would suggest you take up the cause as requested at bug #788701.

I would be happy to get an reply,

The neon project is maintaining an up to date partition manager:
https://packaging.neon.kde.org/neon-packaging/partitionmanager.git/

It's usually a good idea to try to sync our packaging efforts with the ones in
neon.

Also, please, keep the maintenance of the package under the kde
extras umbrella, so the rest of the team can work on it from time to time.

And, it would be better if the package maintenance is moved to git.

If you need help with any of this, please join to #debian-qt-kde @
irc.debian.org or ask in the pkg-kde-talk mailing list (

http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-talk )

At least I was planning to work on partition manager after stretch is
released, so I would prefer if it's not orphaned, but I don't mind if somebody
else takes care of it.

Happy hacking,

[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#842715: skrooge: FTBFS with Qt 5.7.1

2016-10-31 Thread Lisandro Damián Nicanor Pérez Meyer
Source: skrooge
Version: 2.4.0-2
Severity: important

Hi! Skrooge FTBFS with Qt 5.7.1. We are about to start the transition
to get 5.7.1 into testing.

The relevant build log part is:

It might be possible that this is not a Qt5-related bug, will try to rebuild
against current 5.6 to check.

It's been on my TO-DO to look into this package. If you have tested packages
ready for upload, I would be willing to consider sponsoring them.
