[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#504380: icecc-monitor: no host or scheduler found

2009-01-06 Thread Will Thompson
Package: icecc-monitor
Version: 1.1-3
Followup-For: Bug #504380

severity 504380 grave

thanks

Hi,

I can confirm that icecc-monitor simply does not work, with or without
USE_SCHEDULER set. Downgrading to the version from stable works around
the problem for me, too.

Upping severity; Lenny should not ship with a version of the package
which does not work.

Thanks,

Will

[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#504380: [icecc-monitor] no host or scheduler found

2008-11-19 Thread Ed Hein
Hi Fathi,

I am already setting USE_SCHEDULER=10.150.32.87, and it is needed for
icecc-monitor 1.1-1 to work properly in my environment because my client is
located in another subnet.

1.1-3 does not work even _with_ USE_SCHEDULER set. If you look at the output I
provided in my previous report, icemon does indeed look into USE_SCHEDULER.
My client is in the 10.149.111.* subnet, the icecc scheduler runs on
10.150.32.87. icemon sends a broadcast to 10.149.111.255, but in the next
line aknowledges that I set the scheduler location to 10.150.32.87:8765.

For my the only way to get a working icecc-monitor package is to downgrade to
the version from stable and pin it.

Cya, Ed

Package: icecc-monitor
Version: 1.1
Severity: grave

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
After an update of the icecc-monitor package I dont see any host or scheduler.
The icecc works fine, so the problem is on icecc-monitor.
