I wanted to send a signed message but Enigmail wouldn't let me. A popup

"encryption command failed"
After investigating at the command line, I found my subkey had expired.

When TBDialOut transfers a number to a URI, it always removes the
leading '+' symbol and tries to replace it with the contents of the
configuration setting extensions.tbdialout.plus
By default, extensions.tbdialout.plus is empty so it simply removes
