Hi! I'm just evaluating VLC as alternative to xine or mplayer, and I stumbled across the same bug. However, in my case the file wasn't called a.avi but داخلحماممغربي.flv, and picks up a bunch of files called *.txt or *.utf8. Cheers! Uli ___
