I've noticed a simular problem with cyrillic symbols. Files with cyrillic
filenames playing normal. But if the file laying in folder with such symbols
then Smplayer launch without loading this file. Just empty player.

why did you switch libois to an unversioned runtime?
Packages providing shlibs should usually reflect the SONAME, this
would ease future transitions.
