Thanks for adding the shebangs to thin's maintainer scripts with your
NMU. However, I am wondering, do you know how that caused installation
failure? I tested the packages successfully on my system and in
piuparts, so I thought they worked fine.

why? I think this is a bad idea, it defeats the purpose of a tag. Why
don't we just switch to a sane svn layout that allows you to check out
the current version of all the packages (trunk) without all of the
branches/tags?

switch to using only debian-ruby@ for everything
except commit logs (which go to pkg-ruby-extras-commits@). This matches
what the perl team does, and it seems to be totally bearable even for
bigger teams.
What do you think?

I'm working on debian lenny .
redmine depends on rails (= 2.2.2).
lenny only has 2.1.0-6.
upgrade your rails package to the version in squeeze then try again.
of course, the package manager shouldn't have let you get this far...

redmine and reinstall redmine how you did last time. you've broken
your redmine package, and I'm not sure how, so just reinstalling
seems like the best way to fix it. if it still doesn't work,
show us the logs with the error messages, 500 is too broad.
