The puppet source package, recently recently dropped the puppet-common binary
package. This package has been a transitional dummy package since stretch.
Unfortunately there are still a substantial number of packages depending on it.
They are listed by maintainer at the end of this mail (the lis
(droping debian-devel as a mass bug filing does not seem to be needed anymore)
Gosh, these are all mine... Don't worry, no need to bother filling bugs,
I'll take care of it. However, what package should it depends on now?
"puppet" I think, at least that is what the transitional package dependen

i tried to modify the testsuite to use stronger keys (patch attatched), however
after doing so the testsuite now hangs (relavent output pasted at end of
message). Not sure what is going wrong here (I am neither a ruby expert or an
openssl expert).

It seems that ruby-eventmachine has a hardcoded 1024 bit CA certificate and
key, I tried replacing this with a 4096 bit one but the testsuite still failed,
I then tried replacing the client cert in the test with one signed by the new
CA but that didn't fix things either.
