severity 483070 important thanks This problem is fixed in xfwm4 4.4.2-6 (I've seen it with various full-screen games). Also fixed is a related problem (caused by the same bug, AFAICS, since switching off compositing it also fixes it) which manifested itself when I plugged in an external monitor
