I've never used ssh-copy-id (presumably adding a public key to an
authorized_keys file). Have you checked the permissions on the .ssh
directory and contents?

Default for Sleep is 30 seconds. Mine does the same thing.
Also, turn off adaptive brightness. It sucks.

Aha! I didn't look at the Display menu. Yes, the sleep option is set to 30
seconds by default. I bumped that up to 2 minutes and now know how to change
