I had problems with those silly watch type batteries. So, my solution, which I
have done to every machine of the desktop variety I have ever owned, was to
take out said battery, wire in a AA holder and insert some rechargeable. Since
it isn’t that hard, it turns out to be a low cost over time

I have an entire library of DVD’s that I have collected over the years and I
simply wished to have them electronically available for the room mates here. It
was easy enough to rip them and place them on a 10TB HDD.
Um, why don’t you install VLC instead, then use it to rip the DVD’s into large
raw files. At that point, you can then use handbrake to properly compress them
to suitable size.
There is an export function under the file menu for VLC that gives a lot of
options for type and coding.

ship and start using OpenBSD and the PF firewall system. Btw, I have been using

Now, if RDesktop supported screenreader functionality or ported the audio over
to the linux side, then there would be something useful for me. I have tried
virtually every Remote Desktop package out there at some point. If they cannot
port the sound to a local speaker, then the screen reader is

computer crimes center. Who knows, they might actually be able to find the
people behind this.
