Michael, I'm really sorry, I wasn't paying attention to the time stamps
on the log and assumed the parse errors were current (its been one of
those days). The new version is working beautifully now.
Thanks for the feedback.

I too have made the same mistake. I now realise I've been trying to get
the 6.2 release to work on 6.5.1.
I forget which link I followed now, but I must have visited a click
here to download link.
I'll now scrub Alien and install the 6.5 version

In the Verbarius Clock Style Plugin thread, we've talked about adding an
API to SaverSwitcher so that SaverSwitcher could check if a screensaver
should be used before activating that screensaver.

In short, Last.fm servers were being slow.
They do that. Pretty often.

thanks for that speedy reply!
My problem, however is that that particular song (in fact the whole CD)

I've had a look around with a tag editor and can't see
Well that track will never be saved on Last.fm:

The artist Various Artists is invalid.
If you have since modified tags so that the artist is valid but
Slimserver shows Various Artists, Real Artist then you need to do a

I'll try and get you a screenshot - but the rendering issues are not

The only rendering issue I can recall right now is that once the track

I've noticed that the BBC WMA are not very good at being UK only -
whereas all the AlienBBC 5Live streams played the uk only messages,
the previous asx URL played OK. I know here in Rep of Ireland - some

The player in a browser is just a standard
Thanks so much - you are right - i re-cheked the WMA built in and it's
