Just a little followup... the CDlayer plugin works just fine on my Macbook Pro with Mac OS X thanks to your installation instructions. There is one caveat though. The cdda2wav process is not properly quit by the plugin after cd ejection. As a matter of fact, it even continues using CPU cycles

Is MusicIP doing something during the import ? For example performing analyzing or are you setting ratings in MusicIP while the import is performed ? The 32 seconds looks strange since you don't have any timeout message before, so I suspect there might be something that triggers a SqueezeCenter

cdda2wav is not well behaved if it is terminated. I had to create a special utility for Windows as a process could remain for each track played ! I used to use killall on Linux system but I worked out how to avoid that except on OSX it seems. Does OSX support the shell killall command. --

i heard that the AAC is much better that MP3...but im perhaps wrong. You are entitled to your opinion and what you like. What I or others hear does not help you when you are listening to your music on your system in your room. At high bit rate I think there is probably little difference

I also upgraded to 7.1 and had already modified the SDT 5.5.1 xml file for max version. However, I get the sports scores, but no weather at all. It simply slides between date/time and scores. The up/down arrows do nothing. I have not changed my plugin settings at all. -- crazybake
