I installed the Photo Gallery plugin on my setup (SBC/WHS with Duet)
because I also have a collection of pictures on the same machine.
But I noticed that files with names like DSC_0275.JPG do not play.
Renaming the file to abc.jpg (ie. no underscore and no capitals) makes
the file

Sounds like Erlands problem #5. Are you using 7.5.0?

Is it possible to install Custom Clock on SqueezePlay?
Whenever I try to install it I just get Downloading Applets with a
spinning circle. After a while if I click the page it goes back to the
install applet screen again. I try to install again and it shows

I just tried Daylight Clock but then realised that was yours also! ;-)
Install fails similarly with Weather Forecast so it looks like a
SqueezePlay issue.

Could you post in the Beta section and ask if anyone else has seen
problems installing applets in SqueezePlay through
Point 5 in my initial list is a lot worse because it results in that
images isn't even shown on the Squeezebox Touch/Radio/Controller. It's
still not urgent for me though, so take your time.
Erland - could you please try again with the 7.5.1 trunk? I've checked in a fix
to the file name regex
I just posted in the Devs forum as I'd posted there previously about
whether SP would ever be released and the reply was basically no, it
was really a dev tool.

There is a setting in the web UI for scrolling/sliding etc. Must be in
the player settings.
As far as the upcoming weather, you can use the arrows on the remote to
change what is displayed.
Works well I have setup two places and by pressing the buttons 1 or 2 it
shows the weather at those locations. Turn the dial and you get the
weather at location1 for the next 3 days.
Simple but very effective.

server. Take the XM folder in plugins file in your desktop. Restart the
SB server. You should not see XM in the Squeezebox server menu under

Haven't seen anything similar but it looks like some corruption of the
database.
Are you using any antivirus software that could cause problem ?
Are you sure only one instance of SBS is running ? Check in the Task
Manager
Which SBS version did you have before the upgrade ?

Hi All - very new to this
I've installed Moose after reading about it on this and other forums.
Going through the setup document I see it refers to the database setup.
I've installed the Synology implementation of SqueezeServer software
which I believe is 7.4.1
So after reading the install
is there anyone with the knowledge about SoftSqueeze left?

Your problem is not Softsqueeze but audio on your system - you need to
check how your audio is set up on your Suse Linux system.

I have upgraded to SB Server 7.5 and Sugarcube 2.10. I was just curious
as to what the Track Duplicator Weighting option is and how to
implement it.
So far SB S 7.5 and Sugarcube 2.10 are working out quite well for me

patiently.
The filename issue is something else. Just install tomorrow's SBS 7.5.1 build.
The firmware change mentioned is about rotating the images on the

Now that 7.5 is official, I've made a new release of my Playlist Manager
plugin. The plugin provides a mechanism for adding single tracks or all tracks
on an album from any Browse list to a selected playlist, to provide an easier
mechanism to manage playlists directly from the SqueezeBox user
