slightly off-topic but possibly relevant: I have noticed the opposite issue when listening to BBC Radio 6 using SqueezeSlave via the iPlayer plugin. It plays back slower than normal and makes everything sound like Joy Division! -- indifference_engine ---

It is a bit unusual for a user to take the digital audio streams and forward into SBS so before looking into possible solutions, what is your end goal ? If you are planning to play Videos or have multiple speakers - be aware the SBS output will be at least 2-3 secs after the PC audio output. --
