Hi. Cant get Ipeng to crossfade on my iphone. Its set to do it, but
won't.
Any ideas?

It's not supported.
You can't turn the server from showing the option, even if it's not
there, sorry.

It's unfortunate that Sirius stops routinely after only about 15
minutes. To me having to push the play button every 15 minutes is
unacceptable. It is a premium subscription and a recommended supported

sorry for my bad english.
Since SBS 7.6 the SBS sometimes die if I connect via Softsqueeze over
SSH. With the 7.5X version are no problems.
please fix it...:-)
Softsqueeze is the only software that works together with ssh and make
it possible to stream my music away from home.

I bought playback yesterday, since I cannot longer use ipeng to control

I run the Text Clock app in a German setting. Half of the time it shows
the wrong time.
Between xx:35 and xx:55 Text clock refers to the PREVIOUS hour.

Could it be a timezone issue? The Touch has its own timezone setting

Both wma and native aac are carried over http (port 80)
Live text uses
Strange - in the last hour or so - the station logos for R1, R2 and R5
have all disappeared! R3 and R4 still displaying.

I have all my music on a RIPNAS running WHS with SBS7.6 as plug-in.
Most of the time, I listen to music on the RIPNAS via SB Radio, SB
Touch and Linn DS.
In my study I was using Firefly music server on the RIPNAS to stream to
itunes on my PC. However, I have found Firefly to
Softsqueeze emulates the previous generation of players.
You could try Squeezeplay which has the same user interface as the
current SB players such as Touch.

The problem sounds like it is all at the SBS end not Softsqueeze - all
the problem require SBS service to be restarted.
What messages are in the SBS log ?
Can you run Softsqueeze on a local PC without SSH ? I suspect SSH is
not the issue.

music, pause SoftSqueeze, and come back to it later, the music plays (I
see the vu meter going), but SoftSqueeze does not turn the digital

It is java 6 update 26 on Lion.
OpenSuSE 11.4 on server.
mp3 files only.
I'll wait till it stops again and try it on analog.
SS was working before I updated to Lion and the 7.6 server.

I run softsqueeze from debian. Is it possible to shutdown the pc from
the softsqueeze menu?
A shutdown -h now works. But where to place it and where can I find
the entry in the menu structure?

If you mean shutdown the SBS server PC - use the plugin SVRPowerCTRL
If you mean shutting down the PC on which Softsqueeze is running -
answer is no.

This problem is now back again for me. The fix is now no longer working.
I shouldn't have updated my squeeze server because that brought it back
and I see no reason to have updated it anyway.

If you update your SBS installation, you'll have to reinstall
ProtocolHandler.pm
