I have applied the A2 and then the A3 update and it cured most of the
problems on my SB2. I use a lot of the weather settings and most are now
working. But I use P=%p in my settings to display the atmospheric
pressure. While the temperature, humidity and other settings display
properly all I see

LOL, sorry about that. I never bothered to look at your name. :)
Ok so my first question remains: how do I run headless on my NAS?
This is a good link which may help;

I have been running BBC iPlayer and Spotify 3rd. party applications on

BBC iPlayer has become intermittent and Spotify no longer works at all
on either device.
Regarding Spotify the self test fails the final test: Player did
So it's true that headless HAS to run on the same machine as the one
running LMS, correct? And there's no way around this?

I'm hoping this gets added to the repository soon, even if it still
needs some minor adjustments. I have a readynas duo so the work to get
an alpha/beta release working for this, is kind of a lot of work for it.
Thanks dev for your continued effort with this and I look forward to the
working

I think they can theoretically run on different machines but their paths
to the music files needs to be exactly the same and I'm not sure how to
Maybe you can install LMS on the computer ?
If you need the computer to be running due to the dependency to MusicIP,
it feels like shouldn't matter if you run both MusicIP and LMS on it.
You can still keep the music files on the NAS, just mount the NAS
directory on the computer.
This is not actually a problem, as the iPlayer plugin streams play fine.
However, using my Duet, every time I select a BBC radio play it again
stream I get a cannot connect error message. This stays on the
Controller screen for a few seconds, but behind it I can see that the
plugin has connected

Nope, you can set where SugarCube should look for the headless api,
default is http://localhost:10002/ (ie same machine) but you can change
this under the

I'm pretty sure that all file formats are as default. Where do I get

Heh... I just checked again: sox is part of SlimNAS already.
If you ssh in to your FreeNAS box and run sox from the command line,
what would you get?

OK, I've looked at it and again it seems to work for some length of
time, but then ends up
with the radio in the On state.
Ok so I installed LMS on the same PC that's also running MIP but for
some damn reason, I have no music in any of my players! Everything is
setup identical as my NAS but even though my players connect to the new
LMS server just fine, I see ZERO songs! What can possibly be wrong? I
did a rescan
i did a quick search and found nothing.
none of my npr program links (which live inside the NPR Plugin) are
working currently.
anyone else out there having this problem?

I set the directory path in LMS using UNC but now I'm getting the

I am getting the exact same behavior of Spotify - works fine, loads
songs and playlists, thinks it is playing but no music, and at 7 to 10
sec mark stops and goes to the next track.

Which screen savers are you switching
