Installing Linux on the computer would be a solution, but I suspect that would cause other issues as you are likely using the computer for other stuff than running LMS.
Another solution would be if cparker added some kind of re-mapping support that made it possible to convert the beginning of the paths in the SugarCube plugin, but I've no idea how hard that would be.
