Thats a feature Squeezeboxes always lacked to be able to route analog
inputs trough the house , quite usefull , for exqample LP playback (but
that wont need 24/192 ) .
If LMS is running on one of RPi you get exaclty that if you suceed :)

First text forecast should be: during a given day (from about 90 minutes

Yes, you'll need internet access to create the actual mixes. There's
little smarts in the plugin itself, all the mix creation
