That is correct canyelles, i was merely making an analogy. Has nothing to do with any setting. The sound is unlistenable on live streams due to the high distortion. I have tried everything and haven't been able to figure it out yet.

Nothing happened when I tried this on my PC. Squeezelite-win only hangs with out any output or response what so ever to the command line. I assume this may have to do with the fact that may LMS is remote (public IP) and requiers logon (Username/Password) to authenticate any unknown playback

I'm considering what to do next as my SQL etc is pretty minimal. I thought I'd try the easiest route - extguiLMS, but it's very slow to load and then times out when I search for the ratings - I would imagine my server is pretty quick (Synology 213j) - any ideas where I'm going wrong?!
