OK, I managed to solve it. I used the link here; http://www.sysads.co.uk/2014/07/install-ffmpeg-2-3-ubuntu-14-04/ I used the routine right at the bottom of the page headed; 'To Compile FFmpeg 2.3' and that worked. I'm getting BBC feeds now. It takes quite a while to load but it works.

Asked this in the other (older) thread. How to install on OS X? The instructions etc seem to be linux-based, but I see an OS X module. I added the repo to my plugins but nada. Let me know if I am just missing something.

Hmmm...I thought I had this nailed, but this morning my LMS crashed and after restarting it I can't access LMS from the web GUI or mobile app. The server log shows this error repeating thousands of times: Code: Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::Players::_players_error

Yep, i got this a week or so ago and commented here but got no reply: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103743 I think there's an issue with one of the mysqueezebox.com servers (mine was pointing to an IP address starting 176) because I had no connectivity issues on my lms server.

Ah Ok. I have mine set to auto-start with Windows, and am not sure how to disable mysqueezebox.com in that scenario. Maybe deleting my Account details in the Account tab of the Control Panel would do itI'll try this the next time I have this problem. Incidentally the Windows Event Viewer
