Hey there. Very interested in getting a few chromecast audios so I can
finally get multi room audio in my house. Before I buy them, I'd like to
understand a bit better how this actually works.
Let's see if I understand this correctly. If I have 2 CCAs and I create
a group with both of them
Frozzers, thanks for showing the way. Thing is, to be honest I rarely
use the web view, so I didn't go far enough. But as slim-maikel says,
it's those extra steps that deter. Anyway, I'll be sticking with TuneIn
Radio and iPeng for now, as that's easy and clear.

But you don't see all available shows with time stamps in one go. You
need to click on each to see the date.
The view from the plugin is more convenient20133

You've got more faith in me than I have :( I've managed to end up with
a completely blank config file!
Nevermind, the Pi works as a server, so I'll wait for a new all singing
version of max2play.
Thanks to all for your help. :D

For the new Jessie based Image of Max2Play, I did not add the user root
for a direct SSH connection. You always have to SSH in with user "pi"
and PW "raspberry" like in the original Raspbian as @Man in a Van said.
If you want to get superuser rights you can either enter any command

This is good news - (not that Adrian takes a break, but that Ralphy's
builds are the "official" ones).
But I agree with the OP, that finding the official
Hi,
Adrian (Triode) takes a brake - Ralphy provides the latest builds.

Correct :)
To be more precise: Does Triode still develop his version or is Ralph
the "official" maintainer right now?

is Squeezelite still under active development? Where is the official
website/source repo/bug tracker now?
I've only found Ralph Irvings github repository:
https://github.com/ralph-irving/squeezelite
... which says "latest commit 4 days ago". I'd consider this active.
