Frozzers, thanks for showing the way. Thing is, to be honest I rarely use the web view, so I didn't go far enough. But as slim-maikel says, it's those extra steps that deter. Anyway, I'll be sticking with TuneIn Radio and iPeng for now, as that's easy and clear.

For the new Jessie based Image of Max2Play, I did not add the user root for a direct SSH connection. You always have to SSH in with user "pi" and PW "raspberry" like in the original Raspbian as @Man in a Van said. If you want to get superuser rights you can either enter any command with the
