Mac and Windows version are up!
Note that I have only been able to test the Windows version as I don't
have a Mac. Would be interested to hear of anybody having success with
the Mac version.

I've been running Dev 4 with a pacing value of '-1' on the laptop,
playing BBC Radio 2 through the BBC iPlayer-DASH plugin, for the last 2
and a

No idea!
Finally after about 6 hrs of reinstalling OS - LMS - upnp plugin ...
finally, I've got a basic working system again.

Yup, the SB just
Not sure but might be worth a try?
I would check file
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/plugin/extensions.prefs, and add
WeatherTime to it. This is my file:
Code:

_ts_auto: 1426532393
_ts_otherrepo: 1284724119
_ts_plugin: 1466211387
_ts_repos: 1459420119
Periodically, when I select a new Spotify album for playback, it will
crash my SB Touch. This just happened again today, don't know if these
log lines are relevant:
The SB would crash? Are you using some kind of special screensaver?

So I downloaded it (on my Linux Leap 42.1 machine) to
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins
and unzipped it there. But it is not seen as a plugin by 7.9. How do i
get the plugin to work?
Check Settings/Information. There should be a path called "Plugins" (NOT
Slim/Plugin).

Just spent 2 hours reinstalling system and LMS. Set up the listed 3rd
Party UPNPBridge . Update available appears on restart. Selecting
this prompts for restart. After restart, the damned Restart message
appears again and again. No evidence of the plugin anywhere.

Dev 2 worked fine. Dev 3 doesn't. I'll try Dev 4 when I get home later.
What pacing values do you suggest bearing in

No UPNPBridge anywhere - it's gone into limbo!
I'm reinstalling the whole system again to get out of this Catch-22 !

Thanks for the bump, but it's not life threatening or anything ;)
Mostly these days I run LMS on a big joggler and stream from a SBT and a
BOOM or two.
Still play about with the pi but I have recently fallen on the dark side
and purchased a used 2012 mac mini (I'm now a lost soul :D )

On my linux system running 7.9, that directory (even when called
..squeezeboxserver...) is always empty. Or is it just used when
installing?
My plugins are in

I didn't realise you could add folders within Favourites. That'll help
me clear up all the junk my daughter keeps putting in there :)
Can an album / track / whatever appear in multiple Favourites folders
then? Sounds like your idea is pretty neat.

There aren't any! As soon as I activate the upnpbridge install -
there's no Changes have been made, and the Restart message appears.
Restarts do nothing.

I've removed all the repo urls - restarted/rebooted ad nauseam - still
getting the restart prompt. What else can I do?
