In the filetypes setting in LMS you can disable native for ALAC and/or AAC then faad will transcode. Boom does not have native alac or aac support thtas why it happens automatically for Boom. If the files are ALAC , apple lossless then you could batch convert them to FLAC

Hi Martin, My question on the DSD thread hasn't been answered, and even with the latest update the "enable DSD over PCM" option in the players settings (DSDPlayer tab) still shows the same behaviour. I have 2 players but only one supports DSD, so I want to have one "Enable DSD over PCM" option
