If you need a beta tester
It's out there. v1.2.0 adds support for .lrc files (must be identical
name with or without the audio file's extension) and embedded lyrics.
Also several tweaks to the album cover search.

Try version 5-9-49 just posted.

Pity about this. I have tracks with some long names (typically classical
pieces). A single line of text makes it very difficult on a smartphone
to work out which piece is which. Two lines depth would make all the
difference.

The notification in Orange Squeeze is there if music was stopped
Thanks. I don't have the (i) icon on Playing view, but can access this
functionality via "More" on an item in the Queue view.

A functionality I've found useful in the dedicated apps is a quick way
to jump to another album from the same artist, composer, year, or genre.
Touch the title block or album artwork on the "Playing" screen and a
pop-up appears with these links. Would you consider adding something
similar?

Many thanks as always. Your work is very much appreciated!

I also had an issue today updating the stable version of 1.8.3 to my
main server. After an hour of faffing around I gave up and installed
the dev 1.9.1 which installed without issue and is working fine.
Coincidence or a problem with the install of the stable version?
Done
Thanks! That was easy to implement. I'll give the .lrc file a try, too,
before releasing this.

I was able via Chrome to put a shortcut on homepage with music note icon
which works just fine. Thanks for your reply.

I have been running with an earlier version (1.7.4?) for some time and

There's an x86_64 pulseaudio squeezelite build you can try 'from here'
Extract it from the tarball and try running it from the command first as
it may not work on your NAS.
./squeezelite -l

hi,
I have a new install on a synology + the DNLA pluing. I use it to stream
to a Neet Airstreamer but audio stops after every song. (files are
FLACs)
Any idea why?
Thanks

I would love that too, but (AFAIK) a web page does not have access to
these. If it could, that would be the one missing piece for me.
