Thanks! looking into Essentia & Musly now.
Does anyone run MusicIP on Centos? I've got my SBS running there, and
I'd love to get MusicIP working there also. Does LibOfa have any
relation to it? Doesn't seem to be any other mention of it for Centos.

If you do use MusicIp I would suggest you tick the Archive option under
Preferences/General. Then you will maintain a record or fingerprint of
tracks so you won't have to rebuild your track database all over again

Well, its not a technical issue - just an odd UI choice. Mixing music
source, options, and ID info for one track. Especially when this info
does not update as the song changes, unless the controller refreshes. I
really thik the ID does not belong here. As to the image HD option - how
often are

Playing with the last.fm + don't stop the music plugin now (thanks!),
while the "spare" server is analyzing for muscip . Hopefully after I
have a reasonable size of tracks with analysis I can see how well that
works.

Does this skill work with chromecast and airplay players with Philippe's
bridge plugins installed on LMS? I have your skill working on a
Raspberry Pi4 and it does list the chromecast/airplay devices, but I
want to make sure they will work before I subscribe. I ask because I
have only one

You could use last.fm but that's more genre based, at least in my
experience musicip gives a good similar sounding playlist. Best to run
the analysis on a (hopefully powerful) windows box and configure for
parallelism to increase processing speed, make sure the
fingerprints/tags are being
IMVHO, its a bit inconsistent. I view the items in 'My Apps', 'My
Music', etc. as 'browse' items - ie they show the list of music sources,
etc. Not configuration options for these - as that is what the
'Settings' section is for.
I decided to not put it to the settings, as I think it's a feature
I'm not sure if you have noticed an interaction between the Group
Players and Spotty plugins. On a server reboot, playlists for Group
players that have Spotify/Spotty songs included will have a log file
entry indicating the song is not found on the disk. On my setup I get 3
log entries for each
I do it all the time.look at your DHCP server, or you can watch LMS
for a new player to connect. The default player name is piCorePlayer.
piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.

Installation is by burning an image to an SD card.
If you mean the next step of configuration then yes you do not need a
monitor or keyboard.
Hi all, is it possible to install pCP attached to an ethernet cable so
that a DHCP server can be reached but without a display?
TIA!

One more curiosity: is it possible to somehow link an action to that to
powercycle a smart plug so that an amplifier can be controlled?
